Imegen-Friedreich allows analysis of GAA triplet expansions in the FXN gene associated with Friedreich’s ataxia by conventional PCR and capillary electrophoresis. In addition, the kit offers a TP-PCR (triple repeat primed PCR) system to detect expansions not detectable with conventional PCR.
