It is estimated that between 20% and 30% of colorectal cancers are familial. The can be divided, in a broad sense, into polyposis and non-polyposis syndromes. Our recommendation in these cases is the study of the main 22 genes related to hereditary colorectal cancer or associated syndromes.

Priority Genes : Genes where there is sufficient evidence (clinical and functional) to consider them associated with the disease; they are included in the clinical practice guidelines.
Secondary Genes: Genes related to the disease, but with a lower level of evidence or that constitute sporadic cases.
